Part of a series of five apps, this Italian cooking activity provides step-by-step instructions for ten real, child-friendly recipes for snacks. The design could be better (several screens are cluttered) but the recipes fun, real and tasty. See also My Little Cook: Cucino Ottimi Spuntini.
Recipes come with fun names and tend to use healthy food items. They include caterpillar-shaped tartines (use black olives for the eyes), ladybug toast, kitchen in a jar and so on. Children are reminded to consult adults when using dangerous cooking tools, such as the oven.
It is possible to customize this app, by taking your own picture to put your child's face into the app, as the cook. This app was a mention in the 2015 BolognaRagazzi digital prize.
