Can't afford a trip to Italy? This app gives you a guided tour (in English) of six paintings found in the Magi Chapel in Florence, Italy, home of a set of related frescoes painted by Benozzo Gozzoli. The art is from 1459-1461.

This app gives you a 360 degree view of inside of one small room. To learn about a painting, you point your device in the direction of the painting and look for a small red target. The narration (in clear English) starts automatically. The technology used is by http://www.virtualiter.net . The free app was funded by the EON World Heritage Initiative, which was established to bring to life historical and cultural treasures. The Magi Chapel application is just one example of the work this initiative is doing and its concept can be applied to other landmarks around the world.
