This is a slow moving, expensive specialized no-screen programming system that uses a block-based coding language that goes no farther than direction commands (and macros). It could be used to visually introduce children to the very earliest ideas about coding.

The kit contains a wooden robot named Cubetto (shaped in a cube, of course), a physical programming console with a set of RFID coding blocks, a fabric map and an activity book. Both the robot and the programming console require three AA batteries (six total).

By placing the direction blocks in different patterns on the control panel, children can send simple direction programs to the robot. This could be a very first coding experience.
