This app was originally created in 2015 by Touchpress, and has been updated by RGB, who has also re-published several older Touchpress titles including The Elements and Solar System. Features include and easy to use interactive book interface, with illustrations that are pinch-zoomable at high resolution. A spyglass tool lets you decode Leonardo’s mirror writing, and a translation tool lets you read the oringal text in English. There are Eleven story chapters, written by Martin Clayton, Senior Curator of Prints and Drawings at Windsor Castle. Some of the pictures include 3D anatomical models, and expert interviews discussing the significance of Leonardo’s anatomical discoveries.
